These work surprisingly well and keep drinks cold in a warm car for a couple of hours. There is a lot of room for miscellaneous needful things. It is also larger than you might think and it does hang down pretty far encroaching on adult knee room. However, it is easily removed if needed.

I can put a frozen coolant pack in the bottom and still have room for a day trip's worth of drinks for our granddaughter.
